In the year 2015, Mr. Mrinmoy Maji and Mrs. Anindita Maji, along with some other eminent people of the locality, were discussing the progress of the locality of Bijoygunj Bazar. Everyone in the group felt the need for education in English, as nowadays it has become the most important language in the country. The outcome of the discussion was to develop an affordable English Medium School in the locality, so that the children belonging to different communities and financial conditions can have access to better and modernised education. This thinking, along with their tireless effort, laid the foundation of Kamalava Super Model School, now renamed as Kamalava Heritage School.
